Removing an existing Hobie handle is easy. If you wish to discard it, the cord can be cut off with a sharp knife or scissors, or if you wish to keep the handle follow these simple steps. First off open the doubled-over loop and commence to push one end of the handle through the loop. It can be a tight fit initially however pinching the loop open as illustrated can help.
Now continue to push the handle through the loop in the cord until it is fully through the loop and removed, it’s that simple.
Next, it’s time to install your new Titan Carry Handle, this is where it becomes obvious how easy this is.
