How good is this visor. Not flimsy and poor fitting like other visors on the market, this visor fits like a glove and is well secured to the fish finder. No chance of losing this underway. Have another brand visor on a 12" Lowrance and it is quite flimsy and ill fitting.
This is simply the best visor out here and Aussie made to boot! If your after a visor put this one at the top of your list. You won't be disappointed.

Berley Pro Shade covers are awesome! This is my second cover, I also have one on my Simrad on my big boat. Stops glare and also salt spray over the sounder. I will always run a Berley pro cover on my sounders. They always come wrapped properly and in a good box when shipped and the always come with the right screws etc to install it straight away takes 5 minutes! Also the design means that the screen cover pops on and off easily. Fits really well and does a great job of looking after your sounders screen. Awesome product and company!
Easy Installation on Flush Mount or Gimbal Mount
The visors work with both mounts as they are CNC machined to fit the outside flange of your unit. This allows them to be mounted, with the nuts and screws provided, directly to the unit or through the holes into the dash/backing.
I have a Lowrance hds live 12’ on the console and a Elite fs 9 on the bow, both fitted with Berley pro visors and what a game changer on those sunny days and great on rainy days as well, great product Berley pro.
Product is exactly as advertised. Easy to install/remove, has flexibility vs. being overly rigid. The only missing 'test' is....how will it respond/hold up to -30C in Canada during the ice fishing season?....stay tuned for a follow-up report on that front....otherwise extremely pleased!
This is my third visor for lowrance units. These visors are well made and robust. Once you try one you will likely get more. It is hard to explain, but they make a huge difference even when the sun is at your back. They also may help deflect an errand bait cast and save you from putting your unit on Ebay with a busted screen, not to mention a little more rain protection. The first one I bought was for a unit that didn't have a great angle of view. Now I have them on all of mine regardless. They are worth the price.
