Australian Made. Less Waste.
We manufacture BerleyPro products in-house at our facility in Victoria, Australia. Operating our own factory gives us direct control over how our products are built, how materials are managed, and how waste is handled. Our approach is straightforward: use raw materials efficiently, recycle our waste, and build gear that lasts.
Closed-Loop Plastic Recycling
Plastic offcuts and manufacturing scrap don't simply go in the bin. We collect and chip our plastic waste in-house so it can be re-processed and reused. Where suitable, we also manufacture using high-grade recycled-content plastic sheet.
Comprehensive Waste Management
Our recycling efforts extend beyond plastic. Materials generated across our entire production process are separated at the machine and sent to dedicated recycling streams, including:
-
Aluminium offcuts and shavings
-
Plastic scrap and trim
-
Cardboard and packaging materials
If a material can be recycled, that is where it goes.
Built for the Elements
We design products for boats, kayaks, and harsh marine environments. They get drenched in salt water, baked in the sun, and knocked around on the water.
Making gear properly so it lasts for years is inherently more sustainable than creating disposable products. We won't compromise on strength, durability, or UV resistance just to put a flashy sustainability claim on a package—our material choices always prioritize performance first.
No Hype, Just Practical Action
We aren't interested in making exaggerated environmental claims. We manufacture locally in Australia. We recycle our manufacturing waste at the source. We reuse materials where we can, and we build products that withstand the test of time. That is our approach to sustainability.
