The Native Watercraft Propel Service Spanner Kit is designed to fit the upper and lower cartridge’s on the Native Watercraft Propel series. This allows you to maintain and service your drive unit to keep it reliable on the water
Heavy-Duty Spanner & Pedal Puller for Fast, Safe Propel Maintenance
This kit provides the tools required to remove the peddles and upper and lower housings of your propel drive. This contains a custom 7mm steel spanner with tool steel ends, TIG welded to give you the strength required in dissembling the components for service. The spanner has been Electrolysis-coated to resist corrosion. This also contains a peddle puller to allow you to remove the pedals to get to the upper housings (the tool pin sizes are: 6.8mm and 5.8mm (for 7mm and 6mm respectively).
Designed for use with newer Native Watercraft Propel drives with curved upper housings (Outback, Slayer, Titan, etc.)
*NOTE – This service kit only fits the newer style Propel drives with the curved upper housings as shown in photos*
Yes - the spanner is electrolysis-coated for saltwater durability.
Will it work on older Propel drives?
No — only fits the newer curved-housing models.

The spanner wrench tool is a heavy duty, well designed wrench that makes working on the Native Propel Pedal Drive a must have. You could try and use something else here to do maintenance on the drive but you would regret it. In general if you purchased all of the aftermarket parts BereleyPro has created for this line of kayak, you are going to have less grief out on the water. Glad you guys are here to improve on the minor aggravations.
