The BP265202 UNI TRANS Transducer mount is compatible with Hobie® Lynx / Passport 12 model fishing kayaks. Installation is fairly straight forward process and this guide should take all the guess work out of it.
Step 1: Remove the stock Hobie cavity cover plate from the kayak and make sure to keep the screws.
Step 2: Screw the BerleyPro UNI TRANS mount plate to the kayak using the existing Hobie rear screw.
Step 3: Run the transducer cable through the Transducer Mount Plate, Hull Adaptor Plate and the center scupper hole.
Step 4: Thread the transducer cord all the way through the hull of the kayak.
Step 5: Use the supplied stainless-steel screws and washers to attach your transducer to the aligned holes on the UNI TRANS mount palate.
Step 6: Place the UNI TRANS Protection Cover over the transducer and align screw holes.
Step 7: Use the supplied screws and existing Hobie front screw to secure the transducer and cover the in position.
