UNI TRANS Transducer Mounts For Hobie® Kayaks

I got this to fit a Lowrance HD Tripleshot tranducer on my Hobie outback with guardian mount. The factory set up didn’t work, and then BP came to the rescue. Their mount adapter worked perfectly, and the Trans mount went on top, shielding the trans from any outside damage. I wash giving myself anxiety trying to find a mounting solution. Berleypro really saved my backside on this one

The Garmin SideVu Ready Transducer Mount (Suits Hobie®) fit my Hobie Compass great and the transducer fit as well. Pleased with how it work. This was my second transducer cover from BerleyPro.

Bought this transducer product. It doesn't fit, so I send an email and don't get a response. I try another email that I found onsite and I finally get an answer. I asked if the correct parts were shipped to me. I also send several pictures, showing how it doesn't line up. Marty confirms that he sent the right parts and his products are very precise and implies I must not know how to use a screwdriver. a few days pass and I am thinking, is it me? I am pretty sure I know how to use a screwdriver. Marty replies again and says, I see the issue. He did send me the incorrect part. So, suggests that I drill new holes or, I can send you the correct parts. I tell him send me the correct parts, I live in North America. Marty says he is having issues shipping to North America because of tariffs. I ask if he has a template he can send me so, I can just drill new holes myself. I haven't heard from him since.

Very easy to install. Watched video from someone who had done it. Have used and it works great. Especially on a Hobie Proangler 12.

I own a Hobie Compass and spent a loooooong time researching which fishfinder to get, finally landing on a Garmin with a transducer that supports side scanning.
But… the space built into the Compass is internal, so that would nix the side scanning capabilities.
After spending another looooong time researching options online and coming up empty, the BerleyPro mount wasn’t just the obvious choice, it was the only one that would fit the transducer space on my yak.
It was easy to install, reasonably priced, and I know it will last a long time! I also own a keel guard from BerleyPro and there’s barely a scuff on it, and I use that guard to my advantage a lot!
So if you have a Hobie with the Lowrance-ready transducer space and want to use it for a Garmin side scanning transducer, look no further! This is it!
I will say that since the mount sticks out - which obviously is necessary for side scanning - I built a PVC rig to transport my yak in my truck so there isn’t any pressure on the mount or the hull. Worth the investment of time and energy!

The unit was not a perfect fit. Did not fit the impression on my hobie outback perfectly. It was ordered correctly as verified by customer service.
I am using it and my garmin unit is working with it.

Garmin's GT51 transducer is expensive in Japan.
The HOBIE Pro Angler12 I use protects the transducer, but it's not perfect.
I was worried about it breaking down because it sometimes hits rocks and concrete.
The BerleyPro Guardian Transducer Protector solved my worries.
Installation is easy and performance is very good.

We have a Hobie Island Adventure and anyone who owns knows how difficult it can be to find aftermarket accessories for them.

Given that the Island Adventure does not come with any mounting rails, trying to mount anything becomes more complicated.

But trying to get a stable mounting point for a fish finder and transducer, especially for larger transducers like the Lowrance 3 in 1 like I have, was not easy.

Thank god for Berley Pro, because their transducer cover installed in minutes and fit like a glove.

I’ve been using out fishing every weekend for the last few months and it’s still going strong.

So I HIGHLY recommend this cover for anyone who has a larger transducer and a Hobie kayak.

Works great. Perfect combo with the guardian system in my hobie. Makes it more of a carefree experience gliding up to islands or gravel bars instead of a worrisome paranoia situation wondering if this will be the time my transducer gets crunched. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Great piece of kit, even with the Guardian retractable mount, it’s good to have the reassurance that if I do hit a submerged object the Transducer protector will take the brunt of the hit thus protecting the expensive transducer.

I really like the mount and so far I’ve had no issues loading or unloading my kayak with the mount installed.

After trying a transducer arm I realized that I should have purchased the Berleypro transducer mount from the start. I spoke to Martin through email and he answered my questions. I no longer have to worry about snagged lines or cleaning off seaweed. I'm very pleased with the preformance of the mount. It was easy to attach with clear instructions. I get a clear signal and have no issues. I would recommend this product and company for cost and service.

I love this product it protects my transducer

It is a nice simple up grade to the somewhat flimsy plastic rails Hobie rails. I like the finish and the thru-bolting which they supply (more comforting than screws into plastic). The rail is an exact fit whit the rails from straight extrusion and the OG with a slight bend. One change I would make to the extrusion is to increase the depth of the sliding opening to accommodate more types of T nuts. Otherwise a nice upgrade that would see your beloved rod flying off into the deep.

The Berleypro rails weigh a bit more than 3 times the stock Hobie inserts. The BP inserts are secured with nuts and washers versus just screws for Hobie. My RAM mount and Yakattack mounts slide on and off the BP inserts easily, but most importantly, they tighten down securely. There is no flex to the track from my omega pro rod holder when it is under load from a fish. Did I mention they look great too?

I ordered the transducer mount and a sun shade. Both arrived in about 10 days(from Australia) which is as good if not better than shipping from the U.S. Both products were exactly what I was looking for and fit exactly the way they were supposed to. I’ll admit I ordered from the factory because I couldn’t find what I wanted in stock here in the states. A thumbs up from me for their product quality and fitment.

Bought this because there aren’t many transducer protectors out there in general for the Lowrance 3in1 unit. I used this on a Perception Outlaw 11.5, with a little ingenuity and extra parts you can make this work to provide great protection with no extra holes to your kayak depending on what you figure out for mounting that is. Quality product from a great company, this is my second purchase from BerleyPro (also bought a visor for the Lowrance HDS Live 9”). Shipping to America was fairly fast too, BerleyPro shipped out the orders either same day or the next.

Putting this on to secure my Garmin transducer was a winter project. Can’t wait until the ice thaws and I can try it out. I really appreciate that it was large and gave me lots of options when mounting. I really hope the side imaging works thru it!
