We designed the Bucket Bro by request from Hobie owners & dealers to address an issue that came up occassionally - the official Hobie rectangular bucket wouldn't always fit quite right, preventing the lid from being closed (on Outback and Compass models). They needed a compatible bucket that would always fit without interfering with the lid, so we made it!
The Bucket Bro™ is designed with a lip around the top and is only 100mm deep so it doesn’t interfere with the bottom of the kayak and ensures the lid can be closed properly.
It can fit Samaki jig boxes and also the Plano Stowaway tackle box (Dimensions: 11″ x 7.25″ x 1.75 / 27 x 18 x 4 cms)
The lip can also be drilled to hang jig heads or hooks and drain holes added so you can simply wash the bucket out after a good fishing session to look after your tackle. The bucket is fitted with two lifting bungee cords to make it easy to lift in and out.
