We designed the Bucket Bro by request from Hobie owners & dealers to address an issue that came up occassionally - the official Hobie rectangular bucket wouldn't always fit quite right, preventing the lid from being closed (on Outback and Compass models). They needed a compatible bucket that would always fit without interfering with the lid, so we made it!
The Bucket Bro™ is designed with a lip around the top and is only 100mm deep so it doesn’t interfere with the bottom of the kayak and ensures the lid can be closed properly.
It can fit Samaki jig boxes and also the Plano Stowaway tackle box (Dimensions: 11″ x 7.25″ x 1.75 / 27 x 18 x 4 cms)
The lip can also be drilled to hang jig heads or hooks and drain holes added so you can simply wash the bucket out after a good fishing session to look after your tackle. The bucket is fitted with two lifting bungee cords to make it easy to lift in and out.
Perfect throw and go storage! Much better option over the standard tackle storage that comes with my kayak!

Really good organizer for the square hatch in Hobies. With its design and shape it makes the bucket bro a LOT more useful than any other method for storage in this hatch I’ve tried.

This Hobie bucket bro is one of the best upgrades you can do for your yak. Heaps of storage and has room to slot a Plano tackle box on top. I also purchased the bucket bro organiser at the same time and keeps everything where I want it . Cheers legends on a great product !

Very very good, fits perfect, looks slick. Practical and well thought out, just like everything you guys are shipping out.
Side note; love the transducer mount, it’s perfect. However, would love love to see a second “reinforced” or maybe thicker version, maybe even with a slope at the front - we get our kayaks through some heavy bush, it would be amazing to have an armoured version!!

Great option for older outbacks
Struggled to find a bucket to fit into the square hatch i fitted on my older Outback, until I found the BucketBro. The bottom section is deep enough to hold keys, phone etc while the top section fits a Plano tackle box neatly in place. Great addition to my yak.

Much Sturdier than the OEM bucket
The bucket bro is way better quality than the hobie one, it's much sturdier, way easier to remove and has almost as much capacity. The slightly shallower profile makes sure it fits in the compass perfectly. A must have for any Hobie with a square hatch.

Wow, the Bucket bro is awesome fits the compass or compass duo perfectly and the hatch closes as normal. If you have the old bucket get rid of it and buy this one. Its heaps better.
